This is for people using MTN Nigeria Network. To browse free on your phone, you'll need to first activate GPRS services on your phone. This settings is for Nokia Series 60 phones: N-series, E-series, any Nokia phone with a distinct logo and button for the menu option.
Get a browsing application called Opera 2.06 or Mopera or Solibay at www.sharemobile.ro
Download it and send it into your phone
Create an Access Point in your phone with the following details:
Connection Name: MTN
Data Bearer:Packet Data
Access Point Name: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
User Name: web
Password: web
Prompt Password: No
Authentication: Normal
Home Page: wap.mtnonline.com
Press Options and Select Advanced Settings
Proxy Server Address: 81.93.186.118
Proxy Port Number: 80
You are 50% Complete to start browsing free!!!
Open the Opera Application, press #8, Scroll down to network
In the opera mini server box, enter in wap.mtnonline.com/lnk000/80.232.117.10:80
Type in the website you wish to go in the address bar.
If you are browsing for the first time, an error would come up saying (Info, Please Repeat Inquiry).
Don't worry at that, just type in the website again and browse for free.
